Escape to private finca in rural Malaga with its own organic olive groves - beautiful farm with 200 years old olive trees producing olives and premium quality organic olive oil. For a 'day' experience harvesting season and importance of 'gold liquid'. Our Harvesting Experience starts from end of August till November, during this time we are accepting private groups to celebrate olive season, understand the process, varieties, quality taste and olive workshops. What to expect: - A half day at rural Malaga shared with Andalusian family: we will share a culinary and cultural storytelling, prepare a traditional meal from small 'pueblos", learn about olive oil and olive types and understand the slow-living mediterranean concept - Welcome aperitif - Olive groves walk and hand-picked olives ( about 30 mins) - Olive oil Tasting 3 extra virgin olive oil tastings: first; good quality but commercial known olive oil, well known on international market, second; high quality olive oil sold in Europe and 3rd option - organic, farm produced olive oil from our land or neighbours ( this type of olive oil is never sold to international market, it is mostly very small organic productions for farmers' family and friends. Now you will have opportunity to taste and distinguish the difference. - Olives Tasting - Regional Wine Tasting - Olives Workshop - ferment your own jar of olives The harvested olives you will us to create a typical edible Spanish olives and learn about antique fermentation method use util today.
